The Moscow Mint has released New Year's products dedicated to the symbol of 2026.
This year, the Moscow Mint decided to combine Russian folk crafts and foreign legends in its New Year's products. The "Dymkovo Horse" medal and the "To the Sound of Hooves" medal are stylized to resemble the artistic crafts of Dymkovo painting and Palekh miniatures. The "Unicorn" keychain and the "Star Horse" medal are inspired by mythical creatures from foreign literature. The products vary in style and execution, but they all share one thing: the symbol of the coming year.
According to the Chinese calendar, 2026 is the Year of the Fire (Red) Horse. This animal is renowned for its boundless energy, ambition, and love of freedom, and the year under its rule promises to be fruitful and emotionally charged.
