Einfach
According to most, Thomas Lindsay Elder (1874-1948) "was a prolific dealer and issuer of medals, tokens and store cards."
In the biography, it is suggested that "Thomas Elder is among the most prominent and influential American numismatists and coin dealers of the first three decades of the 20th century up to the early 1930's …".
In 2009, the ANA named Thomas K. DeLorey - who cataloged Elder's tokens & medals - as “Numismatist of the Year”.
According to Dick Johnson's Databank, this medal is listed by the ANA as “DeLorey 84” (American Numismatic Soc. 0000.999.47739).
Finally - with regard to varieties - there is this quote, "Elder issued the "Dedicated to Coin Collectors of Canada," DeLorey 84. It is believed that less than 50 pieces were struck in silver and the newly released Hibler-Kappen reference suggests that less then 20 are believed extant.".
