Islam Shah (AH 952-960 / CE 1545 - 1552) succeeded Sher Shah, the founder of the Sur Empire. His original name was Jalal Khan, also known as Salim Shah Suri and he was the second son of Sher Shah Suri. Islam Shah's coinage followed the same patterns as Sher Shah.
