This 6 coin Proof Year set was issued by the RAM in 1970.

There were five standard definition coins included, 1c, 2c, 5c, 10c & 20c.

The 50 cent coin was a commemorative coin celebrating the Bicentenary of Captain James Cook mapping the East Coast of Australia and claiming the land for Britain.

Coins were issued in a sealed clear plastic slab which was packaged in protective foam halves.
