I have recently started buying these on eBay. Some of the weights are right where they should be. Some are as much as 0.2 grams off. Is this concerning? Is there a good resource for spotting fakes? Are there fakes of US large and half cents?

.2 gr difference isn't worrying. However as oggy pointed out fakes are out there - especially for certain years. If the coin has wear that will lower its weight as well. I've had some large cents that had slightly varying weights that are considered within acceptable range. Another factor is the scale you are using. Make sure it is calibrated.
