Hello,
I bought this coin for my swaplist and only at home noticed this:

I am not sure if off-center is right term for this, but I do not know how to describe this deviation shortly even in my native language. I hope it is understandable from the picture that this is not a normal medal alignment coin, but there is a small but visible deviation from this.

It should not be a fake, edge is milled and weight is completely OK:

Is this a mint error? If it is, does it give an additional value for this coin or otherwise? Any other thoughts about this coin?
Best regards,
Martins
Hello Martins!

It is a mint error, die rotation. Usually, rotations add value, and with some coins, it is more than with others. However, small rotations like this one do not add a lot (usually 90+ degrees is preferred), and you will have to find a person who will be specifically interested in errors and such coins.
Agreed. I even think such a small die rotation error adds any value at all. Like iiruig said, it has to be at least 90°. Additional value can go very high as soon as you find a die rotation error of 180° (coin alignment in stead of medal alignment or vice versa), at least for some countries.

An off-center error is something completely different. In that case the design is not in the center of the coin. This can go from just a little bit to almost completely. You can see some examples here:

Thank you both for the clarification!
