I have just finished putting all my coins and banknotes in 60 1" binders. I would now like to put an identifying page between each country. I need suggestions on what to put on that sheet of paper . Also is there a source for all this info in a more condensed form already for me to copy?
1- Country
2- Monetary values and changes of currency
3- Languages
4-Founded
What have you put on your description pages...I would really love your imput

Hello!
If I were in your place, I would go with something like this:
-Geographycal/political map of country
-Country name
-Flag
-Currency name(s) - - ex. US Dollar, Dime 1/10, cent 1/100
-Currency period (ex. Kuna 1994-2023, euro 2023- - -)
-Other info like capital city or whatever you like to add
For the info I would recommend numista as it is a best resource for coin based questions and wikipedia for political and other stuff.
I would like to hear from other users what they think because I have a similar problem but that is for another thread.... I need skilled graphic designer.
I use a 2" x 4" blank index card, folded in half and the lower part slipped into a pocket. I set up a template in Libre Writer (an open source version of MS Word). I then get the info I need from the top of the country page and just cut and paste as needed. Sometimes adjustments are needed, but it is pretty simple once you have it set up. Don't try to print on such a small piece of paper. I use a 5x6 index card and do multiple countries to minimize the waste.

Thanks for the info the flag thing is good etc. I am using full sheet of card stock

South Africa is one of my specialist country collections so I have a whole binder just for these.
At the start of the folder is the country introduction, which was largely lifted from Krause:
The next page is my ZAR collection, 7 coins in 2x2s in a 20-pocket leaf, with description page opposite:
It's taken me a while to get the 5s piece, just bought it this last week as a Silver Wedding present from my wife.
Just because you can't see it ... doesn't mean it isn't there - Anon.

Hi Ray,
Have fun keeping track of the exchange rate of places like Venezuela or Argentina . You'll be re-printing their title page once a month!
I like what you did by the way. Nice job.
I have made small name tags for my albums, each continent a different color, and former countries/regions shaded with listed countries below where appropriate. They are small but they fit in the albums. Here's a sample:
