I have noticed that the Proof Crown in the Royal Mint Set I Have has Detail to George VIs Ear and Hair that the others I have AU/UNC do not also the image on Numista is the same as the AU/UNC I have.
The Ear has far more Detail as Does the Hair above the Ear I have not seen this Detail in any other 1937 Crown but there must me others minted like it or where there only proofs minted like this does anybody have any knowledge of this.

Nice coin, let me check mine if it has similar details.
This is my 1937 crown. It’s not proof. There is no signs in the ear as yours.
Hello Charbool.
Thank you for your Reply.
I have two other 37 Crowns one is UNC the other XF I have att Photos of all 3 Crowns along with a 1951 F.B Five Shillings none of the others have the Detail in the Ear the photos don't really show how good the Proof is it belongs to a Royal Mint 15 Coin set that was in an Auction lot around 3 Years ago.
I can imagen that where you are the 1937 Crown is quite a rare Coin I do like the Reverse with the Coat of Arms.

Ian.
Yes it is a rare coin indeed with a mintage of around 500-700k as I still remember.

it’s hard to find Crowns available for purchase over the internet, so the possession of any crown is wonderful. Good for you that you got 3 1937 crowns, and I agree with you that the coat of arms is wonderful.
