Hi Bill,

I think that your first option should be to post a photo of your coin so that we can see what you are referring to, and then proceed from there.
Hi,

you talk about this coin from Philadelphia?

here is the D

please tell us where you see an extra face, the one on the obverse doesn't count.

And by North you mean South?
He probably does, because the north caroline coin is from 2001......... and there is no tree on it(8

Call him and ask.
No, I certainly will not, let him explain his mistery to us here where the question was asked:)

It seems that with no spring baseball to watch in Florida, people are looking at their change instead :D.
You could try shaking the coin to see if the man falls out of the tree.
Clearly the rare and elusive Tarzan variety of the 2000P South Carolina state quarter.
This reminds me of the hitchhiker on the Bicentennial US Quarter.
The joke was always "Have you found a hitchhiker on the back of the quarter yet? No? Guess he got a ride!"

I tell people that a deckhand on the Bluenose, Canada 10 cent piece, is waving at you.

Maybe one is.

Great photo, it is not a conspiracy theory. With my declining vision I could not see it even on this variety of the coin.
Your eyesight is not failing you. I doctored the photo. I couldn't help myself. X-D
That is hilarious. Thank you for brining some joy to my life in these trying times.
Left side of tree, third limb up, a "reclining face" on the P photo. Not so clear on the D picture provided.
Looks to me like the variety with Bavarian coat of arms on the right wing of the Carolina wren.

Extraordinarily rare.

;)

So this is what's it all about? That is far fetched in my opinion.

If you could convince people it was an image of the Virgin Mary, the value of these coins would skyrocket over night.

Yes, that's true.

Is this Joseph watching over her? Or is it Pinocchio?

And who is that bearded person to the left?
It looks like a lot op people live in that tree.
