Hi,
While I was looking through my collection I noticed Numista has AN 13/12 listed as a variety for Napoleon I's 1 Franc coin. Upon inspection of my example of this coin I found that it is this variety. But I can find next to nothing on the internet about this variety. The most helpful thing I could find was on PCGS's website which lists basic information about the coin as well as the coins population (7).
Because I cannot find any other information, I am wondering if anyone knows anything else about this coin? Specifically, I wish to know if this coin is significantly rarer when compared with the normal AN 13.
I can provide pictures and other information about the coin if asked. But I don't really see the point in the initial thread since I am certain about the identification of the coin. Though it does have a weaker strike when compared with the one pictured on PCGS's website but it can still be seen with the naked eye.
Thanks for any help!
