Hello everyone,
I have recently acquired this coin:
Krause only lists one overdate variety: 1327/6, but my example is clearly something else… possibly 1326/7, although that makes little sense, or perhaps 1326/2 ?

What do you think?

Thanks Idolenz, the last digit is a bit strange… Sort of an inverted arabic numeral two, so my best guess was that it's a six. Early arabic numeral are a bit harder than modern ones :-)
I just looked for Afghan numbers (LINK) because there are multiple ways to write most numbers and the 4 comes quite close.
This is a situation were pictures for every year would be quite helpful.

Idolenz
Overdate 1322/4 ۱۳۲۲/۴ is my guess.
Do you mean 1324/2 ۱۳۲۴/۲ ?
Or am I totally misinterpreting how overdate variaties are written in the catalogs?
Krause indicates overdate 1324/2 exists.
Perhaps it's 6 over 2 ???
I will enter it in my collection as an overdate variety without specifying which nummer the hidden character is…
I want to thank everybody for contributing to this thread!
After searching for Afghanistan 1326 I found several others examples at other forums and auction sites and they all list it as 1326. The only exception being the Ngccoin site, they say it's 1322 but that seems wrong. Also, why would the first year of issue have an overdate variety?
My conclusion: 1326/2

Thanks you all for your help!
