What is this coin

I have recently come to obtain this coin and I was wondering if someone knew what it was. I have looked far and wide and yet have only seen a vague post about it here. There is nothing else indicating where it comes from in the US, who produced it, or what the value may be. Please help me with my endeavor. Thank you.
