20 Kreuzer variants KM# 236 and 250

I think there is a confusion with KM# 236 and KM# 250. KM#236 of 1763 has no circle in reverse, as it is shown in the photo, while there is 1765 CLR with a circle, as it mentioned in the description (see also photo attached). However, as auction photo shows (Katz 82, 476), there is really a version 1765 CLR without circle. KM# 250 is a type with circle, but here only 1765-66 ES and 1766-68 CLR is listed. I suggest to keep all versions with circle as KM#250 and add the date 1765 CLR IAS.

German State coins are a complicated sub section of coins, often being hard to categorise as there are many references, not just Km. From what I can briefly see here the confusion lies in the Reverse, with circle or without, and how the one example you have seen should be in the opposite example because it doesn’t have a circle. I am not here to confirm or disprove your observations, but just to let you know you can edit the page yourself.
 

At the bottom under „contribute to the catalog“ there is an option - „modify or add data to this page“, here you can make changes which will be considered by one of the catalog referees for the German State coins. You must supply supporting evidence with your change, the referee will then view the case whilst reviewing other sources of reference before either modifying the page of leaving it as is.
