I have two 1920 German Empire 5 Pfennig zinc clad coins without any mint mark. Did Germany produce these without mint marks like they did the 10 Pfennig (KM 26) coins?

No they should all have a mintmark. But all the details near the rim are gone on both sides of your example either due to a weak strike or very strange, uneven wear.
