Hello everyone,
I would like your opinion on a 1912 Switzerland 10 Francs Vreneli gold coin I have.
I noticed what seems to be a possible mint error (or die flaw) on the coin.
I am attaching detailed photos of both sides and close-ups of the suspected area.
Here are the basic details of the coin:
Year: 1912
Denomination: 10 Francs
Composition: Gold (.900 fine)
Weight: ~3.23 g
Diameter: ~19 mm
The coin appears genuine based on weight and dimensions.
Could you please help me identify if this is a known mint error, die crack, or some other kind of striking defect?
Also, would such a defect add any premium to the value?
Thank you very much in advance for your help!
