Hi

I found this coin while searching through bulk world coins, while I didn’t paid much attention to it while sorting them by country I only notice how odd looking the coin was until I started adding in any new dates/types & variants to my collection.

While the suspect coin weights 6.53 grams, thickness 2.3 and diameter being 2.93 which is very close to a genuine example. The only giveaway is its unnatural worn look and that it is coin alignment which for that year it looks like it was issued into sets in medal alignment (mintage just over 3k).

Is it a counterfeit or post mint alteration to the date?

Hi to whoever is reading this. Did you know that TYPEWRITER (on a QWERTY keyboard) is the longest word you can type using only the letters on one row of the keyboard.

It is a known fake.

Counterfeit.

Thanks I never knew about that!

It doesn't seem to be worth anything due to it being a fake of a very common coin, thus I'll just keep it as an oddity as a conversation starter.
