I found this old coin/token and I’m looking for more information about it. Here are the details:
Front side says: "EAST INDIA COMPANY TWO ANNA"
It also has a star-like symbol and a wreath around the text.
The word "BIGI" appears on the side.
The backside shows what seems to be a tree design, possibly a banyan tree.
The item has two welded lumps, possibly where it was attached to something (like jewelry or badge).
Appears to be made of brass or copper, and is about the size of a large coin/medal.
Questions:
Is this an authentic historical token or a replica/souvenir?
Any idea about its origin, use, or year?
Does it have any collectible value?
Attached are front and back images for reference.
Thanks in advance
