PVC or Environmental Damage? [gelöst]

Got this nice quality Canadian 1872H 25c from eBay, despite the dark colour I really like the coin. I noticed some greenish deposits near the  top of the Queen's hair and on her cheek, as well around the "N" of cents and the "8”

Does this more look like PVC damage or some kind of environmental deposits ? Really appreciate if anyone has some ideas about it!

Hopefully the pictures show the spots clearly, I really should invest in a nice microscope haah

PVC damage is a kind of environmental damage but yours is just non PVC related corrosion.

Thank you so much! Appreciate your help and insight. I'll leave it as is, was just worried about preventing further deterioration.

You can poke it with a soften toothpick if it doesn't crumple you could leave it. If you can easily destroy the crystal with very little force you might want to carefully remove as much of the green as you can or at least not bring it in direct contact with other copper alloy coins (see bronze disease).

PVC damage usually occurs on the high points that are in contact with the PCV holder.  Yours looks to be in the crevices, so as others have said, not PVC.
