No, but it's sure that the editor is cutting down on staff. George Cuhaj left end of January and is not replaced as a full time working unit (working person), that is!

This is what I was afraid of....too much time to add into numismaster coins released 3-4 years ago...
Even if I have 2015 SCWC and some new coins appears on it,not on numismaster.

Now, that surprises me a bit, since I have the feeling the numismaster data base is the basis for all the catalogs!! Could you please give me an example, then I'll bring it up with my contact in KM?

Hi Ole...it was the basis until about 1 year ago according to me.
Anyway 2 examples:
Ukraine 1 hryvnia "WWII Victory 65^ Anniversary" 2010 is KM#667.
Ukraine 1 hryvnia "UEFA Euro 2012 Final Tournament" 2012 is KM#668.

So do I, so do I, but there is another SCWC (in German) Gerhard Schoen, Weltmünzkatalog, which has its own numbers, but also the km#. Schoen works together with KM, but is completely independant! It onlu covers the 20th and 21st centuries....

I know about it but Krause SCWC is more complete according to me.

I submitted an excel file with a few hundred corrections and additional information that was still missing. They thanked me and told me that they would add it early September, it's mid February now and nothing has been added.

Yes, one should not be pressed. Things take time at KM, but when you think of the tons of new coins reported every year, it's still amazing that they manage around 95% of them correctly :wiz:

Hey Ole can you send them Pakistan 5 Paisa 1994 KM#52. Are catalog said its rare. I have had 5 ,and one in my collection. Please search this in topic it has come up 3 or 4 times. If you need a pic let me know.Dont think in there catalog. thank you

Hi Daryl,

as such KM doesn't say it's rare (I also have it), but they simply ignore it..... that year is inexistant for them :snif: The "rare" comes from somebody here in the numista "staff" (;0 obviously not knowing a lot about the market :8D

Here is mine and I'll report it to km now:

One of my college tutor is into guns and he emailed a Hunting company either in the US or Eastern Europe (This was nearly a year ago) asking about which cartridges they had in stock and how much would it cost for postage. They replied 8 years later saying it’s out of stock!

 

So I’ll be surprised if it takes Numismalater more than 8 years to reply.😀
