Hi Cobra, your pictures show a spread over 15 denticles for the small date and over 16 denticles for the large date. I've got the 1 penny 1913 twice and they both have a spread over 18 denticles for the date. The condition of the second coin isn't very well but the denticles are easy to count:
Hi Daryl, thanks. I was only looking at the denticles and didn't pay any attention at the "9"'s. And at first sight they look indeed different. On the left picture it seems as if the curl of the circle goes higher and closer to the body, as you can see on the pictures. But then I took a closer look and it seems that the difference is only visible when you hold the coin at a circle angle. When you look from another angle the "9"'s are the same. You can see that when you look at the 3th picture. Picture 1 and 3 are from the same coin, picture 2 is from the other:

Oh sorry Michel, my bad. The initial question was about the 1 penny 1913 so I only looked at the dates on your link and not on the whole coin so I didn't notice your pictures in the link are about the 1/2 penny.
Do you know the differences in large date and small date for the 1 penny 1913 too? I know mine spread out over 18 denticles but I don't know if that's the large date or small date.
Thank you very much for the link Michel. Very interesting site.
Although I have to confess, concerning the 1 penny 1913, I don't see the difference in the date as clearly as they say it should.
