What do you mail coins in?

Hello!

I was just wondering what do people mail coins in (after they agree on a swap). Just an envelope? or a small cardboard box?
Also, do you wrap the coins you send in something like paper? or put them into a roll?

Thanks!
The coin is to prevent the coins from moving during transit, or being noticeable as coins.

If the coins are in 2x2s you can send them like that, banded together, inside a bubble envelope. If they are loose, they should be wrapped individually and then taped down to something inside the envelope. I use waxed paper like you can use to bake cookies on, other people use paper, tissue, aluminum foil, etc. The important thing is that you don't put sticky tape directly on the coins, but wrap them and then tape each wrapped coin onto a piece of cardstock. You can use old cereal boxes, tissue boxes, that sort of weight. Make your card big enough to fold over, so your coins are inside a sandwich of the cardstock. I tape the edges over and then put it in the envelope. Ideally, the stiffness of the cardstock disguises the coins, to discourage any interest from light fingers in the post office.

I've yet to swap so many coins that I needed a small box for it.
