Beschreibung

This 2008 BU Set of coins was minted by The Royal Mint in Llantrisant and issued by the Reserve Bank of New Zealand & New Zealand Post. The set was packaged in a blister type folding coincard and was inserted in a slipcase.

The set contains five standard definitive coins, 10c, 20c, 50c, $1 & $2.

The NCLT $5 coin is celebrating Hamilton's Frog which is a primitive frog native to New Zealand, one of only four extant species belonging to the family Leiopelmatidae. The male remains with the eggs to protect them and allows the tadpoles to climb onto his back where they are kept moist.
