Beschreibung

In the Year 2011, all the Indian Coins were redesigned to include the new Rupee Symbol.
A Collectors Pack was released on this occasion.

No booking has been invited for this set. It is being sold over the counter at the Mumbai Mint from 6th January 2012. The stock ran out in July 2013.
Due to popular demand, the sets were reissued from the Mint counter from August 2013. The size was reduced to that of a normal blister pack.

Issued over the Counter from Mumbai Mint beginning 6th January 2012. I initially thought only 1000 sets were issued as the stock position indicated that. However, I was informed that once the stock positions go low, new stock is added and as such, except for the key officials, others at the counter do not know the total mintage.

The initial price was Rs 300/- till April 2012 after a tax revision, the price is currently Rs 306/-. This was available till July 2012.

As the set was popular amongst collectors, a new set of all the coins, but with a smaller package, similar to the regular Proof & UNC issue.
