I recently completed a banknote swap with Harold. Our initial discussions were productive, and we both agreed to send our selection of banknotes in UNC condition for the swap. Harold was clear on his preference for UNC notes only, and declined when I offered banknotes in AU condition. I sent my package first, and Harold promptly sent his after receiving mine.
Upon receiving his package, some of the banknotes were indeed UNC, but a few were AU, and at least one in XF. The notes are still in very good condition, but do not match the UNC standard. I brought this to Harold's attention, and he was apologetic and willing to correct the issue by offering to send replacement notes. Overall, Harold was communicative and responsive, and I appreciate his efforts to resolve the issue.

Just a short comment. After he comply, I offer Gian the following: send me the banknotes you did not like, and I will change them for UNC. He refused to do so ... instead he offered me to send him a high value banknote from Perú (100 soles ... face value USD 27.-) but I did not agree and insisted on my original idea. Send the banknotes back, and I will change them and send UNC. He preferred not to do so, and finished the "negotiations" ... I felt very sorry but I did my best to satisfy his requirements. What else can I do? |
