Is there a way to add worn coins without dates?

Howdy folks, I've been using Numista to ID my coins for some time now but I only recently created an account. I've added a few coins to my collection here but a good part of my collection is American and foreign low-ball coins that don't have dates. Is there any way to add these coins without specifying a date? It's not a big deal but I'm just wondering. Thanks yall.
I don’t believe so. I think what some people do is look for the line with the highest rate of ownership and write “no date” in the comment field.
Ok, thanks. This is going to bother the perfectionist inside me sooo much haha. I guess I will just create a "collection" of all my coins with no dates to keep them sort of separate.
Some older coins or coins with hard to read dates have such lines (e.g. https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces80827.html). But the majority of the coins on Numista do not have such lines.

Your coins are all, I suppose, of very low quality?

I believe that the official way to add worn coins without dates is to use this entry. I agree that it's a terrible way, but as far as I'm aware it's the official one.

(One of my German coins that used to be under a "no date" line because the mintmark was too illegible had been moved to that entry; I'm not sure which coin it was, because the move did not preserve those details, and my original comment (naturally) only had the date - and I'm lucky that it at least had that much! I suspect that it was probably this type, though.)

[EDIT: fixed minor typo]
I wish there was a buttom at the top of all the dates and under the comments where you could just put down that you had the type and no specific date. That would be great for worn of dates or just coins that are hard to identify such as this one.

When this page was added, that was truly awful - I don't . I still have some (even to me) unknown coins here. Was it so difficult to add name of the coin in comment field?

Hello,
I plan to allow registering to your collection without knowing the date or the variety. Hopefully it should be implemented in the coming months.
