When I was reading about Chad on Wikipedia I read below I tried to find the mentioned coin on internet but couldn't find event a clue. I does not exist on World Coins Catalogue either.
In about 1804, under the rule of Sabun, the sultanate began to expand its power. A new trade route north was discovered, and Sabun outfitted royal caravans to take advantage of it. He began minting his own coinage and imported chain mail, firearms, and military advisers from North Africa.

I did searches like Sultan Sabun Coins, Wadai Sultanate coins, Ouaddai Kingdom Coins, Chad coins 1804, monnaie royaume du Ouaddaï but I couldn't find anything.
What I have told that I couldn't find. I am asking for information and images of the coin if someone is interested in African coins and knows something about this.
I have also been looking into the supposed coinage of the Wadai Sultanate. I was able to find a copy of "Chad : A Country Study" in the library of congress. Apparently, Country Studies is a series of books published between 1986 and 1998 by the Federal Research Division of the Library of Congress and sponsored by the Army. On a associated website, http://countrystudies.us/, there is an email address for questions regarding the series. I have contacted them and we will see if they respond.
