I love the “Registered a Past Auction Sale.”  I have notice that you have been asked to add a lot of Auction Houses.   Would it not be better to separate the Partner List into the following categories:   

• Individual Websites, 
• Institutions, 
• Museums, 
• University, 
• Library, 
• Central Banks
• Mints, 
• Dealers, and 
• Auction Houses  

Then create the Auction House List from that subcategory that has already been approved.   This would appear to be a more logical approach in order to provide a more comprehensive list of Auction Houses without having to reinvent the wheel per se - Added bonus, the source has already been vetted. 

Furthermore, when “Register an example of this type” it asks for the “Type of Collection”  which is further subdivided into “Institutions Collections."   By categorizing the Partner List this will provide a more comprehensive list for the “Institution Collection” List without doubling the work required. 

Under Sold Status there should be an additional option listed:

The lot was Sold but the Price Realize is Unknown / Unavailable.

Well some websites  require a person to pay to know what the sale price is.  Or on the Auction website the Price Realize may not be available. So you know that the Item was sold but the Price is not readily available. 

So if you add an auction where the Realize Price is lacking, then another Numista Member later on should be able to edit it and provide the information if available.

It's a manual or semi manual process depending on auction house, so you will have to request adding new auctions, I've added 121

Noonans will have a coin sale on 25 July, so I guess they could come first. They will both have their next sales of banknotes  in the Autumn.

It is label differently then I expect

The auction house “Baldwin of St James Ltd” only has auctions from 2-58 on Numista. They are currently at auction 117. Can the later auctions be added?

How do specific auctions get added (not the auction houses)? Do they all need requesting? For example Noonans auctions all seem to get added eventually, but 24 March 2026 is not yet https://www.noonans.co.uk/archive/past-catalogues/929/catalogue/
 

There is a link at the bottom of every page Register a past auction sale you can use to submit one.  Some auctions house like Katz and Heritage and added automatically by the Robot. I don't think Noonans is added that way though.

Yes this is where I'm trying to add auction sales, but you have no choice but to select an auction from the list. If the specific auction isn't there, you can't add the coin, unless you put the wrong auction date.

I added it manually

I'm not 100% sure my statement is correct, but we have many nightly scripts and sometimes they fail execution and stuck on some issue and only after a couple of days we mention that something is wrong)
