I'm downsizeing my collection and have a few beautiful ancient ladies for swap. First coin is a sestertius, Faustina the Younger (161 AD - 176 AD) RIC III# 1663, second is a dupondius of Faustina the Elder (141 AD) RIC III# 1174_dupondius, last one is an as of empress Crispina (178 AD - 191 AD) RIC III# 682 (as) to which the photos just don't do justice, it's beautiful in hand but I just can't take a good photo. All three coins are from the Rome mint and are much larger and more desirable than the common 4th century small coins you see every day.

I also have a large sestertius of emperor Hadrian (124 AD - 125 AD) and an as of emperor Trajan (101 AD - 102 AD) available:

Other than that I have some cheaper provincial coins from Viminiacium (Moesia):

If anyone is interested send me a message. :)
I collect and deal in ancient Roman coin. In case you're looking for affordable ancient coins or need any help with the coins you already have send me a message.
No offense, but I really hate watching photos of coins lying in someone's hand. Why not just put it on a plain surface?

None taken. This is the only way I can get at least half decent photos. While lying on a plane surface I get much less details. I'm horrible at coin photography, any tips are more than welcome. :)

Excellent coin photography? It's not that hard! The hand held method is old hat, move on. But no problem! Get some books. Make a stack, balancing can be tricky, you do want an overhang. Set your phone (presuming you use a phone camera) on top of the stack. A good focal distance is usually about 4 to 6 inches. Put the coin next to the stack, zoom in. Myself, I use a plastic yoga brick (approximately 4" x 6" x 9") instead and a simple iron sheet I got for nothing at a yard sale. To get a coin dead to rights, 1st set flash, obverse & reverse of course, 2nd set natural daylight, 3rd set tilted toward the light. A simple stick, shim of wood, pencil, piece of moulding will suffice. If those don't show it, it ain't there. Where to do all this? A windowsill works nicely. I used to do it outside under a shade tree. A nice swatch of multicolored cloth can help the stupid smartphone camera adjust the color. I try to average about 60 photographs a day.

I would love to trade for your coins, but I doubt if I have the appropriate goods. What do you like?
Thanks for the tips! :)

As to what I like currently I'm very liberal in my approach to collecting, I add anything I consider cool to my collection. I'm mainly interested in ancient and medieval coins minted in Croatia so anything Illyrian or Celtic Danube, from the Siscia mint, from medieval Croatian cities, Republic of Ragusa, Byzantine coins minted in Croatia, coins from the Austro-Hungarian era with ties to Croatia etc. I also have a soft spot for Mark Anthony and the emperor Claudius so anything related to them but I'm open to suggestions if someone really wants them and has something they'd like to trade.
