State quarter 2015 Saratoga

Hi there I have a state quarter and I have read that they are common with worn die errors when looking at the word Saratoga on the coin close up there seems to be some notches is this common or a possible double die

That may be the result of a worn die, but it is not a doubled die, which would show doubling of letters and/or devices.

Hi thanks for getting back to me there is a nice notch either side off the last a in Saratoga and other letters all to the edge of the coin don’t you think???
