I have a 1994 Washington Quarter with no mint mark that is gold colored. Can anyone tell me why it is that color? I found it in a batch of coins from my Dad.

The gold plating is after market. You sure there isn't a mint mark? Mint mark would be on bottom right of Washington portrait. If you upload a picture we can check.
