at $9 for 50 flips it works out at 18c per flip. A couple of my Fiji threepence coins have a catalogue value of only 15c in VF condition, making the flip that I've stored it in worth 3c more than the actual coin.
Wow - you guys are getting ripped off: I pay $2 for 100... except mine don't have the little bump on the top like yours neilithic. They're just normal, square flips. I still don't think it justifies the price difference though
So to answer the question, no I do not have anything worth less than 2 cents in my flips

Where do you buy yours from? and do they ship to New Zealand?
P.S. It's 'lose yourself' from your namesake. Not my favourite of his work.
I think its ok to spend on good quality storage, if you take good care of your collection it wont deteriorate in condition or at least not as much as a persons coins who does not fork out. Having said I have always been a bit suspicious of keeping things in airtight capsules and such. I like the idea of air tight vacuums but if their is air trapped with the coin then any moisture in the air will still react with the coin. I keep my coins in paper coin envelopes and they in turn go in steel trays with silica pouches to absorb the moisture.
yeah I didn't even know about the self adhesive ones: and then just now i looked and i do have one coin in a flip with no staples (bought it in europe so that's why i guess). I would like the adhesive ones better i guess-- I'll look out for them from now on.
And back to eminem, I personally like almost everything of his, but I do agree there is something about his older stuff (when he was less serious and more Slim Shady) that is appealing. I'm not even sure "lose yourself' is my favourite song of his

£1.37 /litre translates to $8.40 a gallon - we have it good over here
wow!!! thank you @josephjk
1.37 GBP = $2.22 USD
1.37 GBP = $2.16 CAD
1 gallon (British 160 ounces) = 4.732 litres
1 gallon (U.S. 128 ounces) = 3.785 litres
@ 1.37 GBP per litre = $10.50 USD per British gallon (160 fluid ounces)
@ 1.37 GBP per litre = $8.40 per U.S. gallon (128 fluid ounces)
In Canada, gas varies by region of country but where I live it is $1.45 per litre.
@ $1.45 CAD per litre = $6.86 CAD per British gallon (160 fluid ounces)
@ $1.45 CAD per litre = $5.49 CAD per U.S. gallon (160 fluid ounces)

We pay about NZ$2.00 per litre, that equates to about 1 british pound per litre. But then again I walk pretty much everywhere if I can get away with it anyway.
Sure. I like the self-adhesive flips but the price is rather prohibitive, I also make sure I buy plenty at a time because the postage charge is about 4 times the price of one packet of flips. It annoys me when places will only send stuff first class priority post.
