Canadian coin shops are listed in
OUTINGS which has a sign-post graphic & is on the toolbar below you "My Account" icon. There are quite a few in TO (none of which I've had a favourable experience in).
"tdziemia" is absolutely correct. Taking your coins to a coin shop will translate into a huge loss for you (& a big win for the dealer) unless you absolutely MUST be rid of them in a heartbeat. You will pay for this convenience & are much better off trying your luck on eBay (or eBid or any other platforms), unless you have low grade common coins (in which case you might as well go to your bank). The other option is to go to a show & try your luck on the bourse which sometimes works in your favour if the dealer has sold a lot. Also keep in mind that if you're buying- you must haggle &. try to get him to knock the price down (no matter what he/she buys your collection for). You should always be prepared to walk away (like a gambler from a hot poker dealer).
I'm sure there may be some coin collectors here who'd like to trade with you (another option).
And last (but not least) good luck!
