Is the Cornucopia, A Mintmark Or A privy mark?

Most french coins have this mark on them, looking on https://markyourcoin.weebly.com/france.html this has the cornucopia down as a mintmark, so is this correct?

The cornucopia is the mintmark of the Paris mint owl, dolphin etc are privy marks.
Thank you for answering that for me, I may have to adjust my catalogue lightly.

Much appreciated.

HERE is some further reading on the subject.

These are for the French coins between 1901 - 2000. If you need a print screen of all the different mint and privy marks for older French coins, just ask.
Once you start to learn French mint marks, it becomes a study for a lifetime.
If you go back thru the 19th century, there are hundreds of different constellations.
I have made a special collection of pointing-hand-and-dog-head.
Another of my collection interests is the Strasbourg mint mark BB.

Yea, the french mintmarks seem to be all over the place, why can't they be like Germany and use the letters.

Another thing about French mintmarks, i find frustrating is within the 1930s - 40's they have two mintmarks, you have the letter and then you have the cornucopia, which one takes priority?

the letter is the place of minting A=Paris, etc.
the privy marks are the personal signatures of the gentlemen who were the director of the minting authority at the time, and the engraver of the dies.
