On a recent auction, I acquired some silver coins with face value of 10 million Turkish Lira,
which has the year 2001 on the obverse and 2002 on the reverse, just like in the Numista entry pictures:

Each of the coins I got come in a plastic, printed case with a legend of the SLC winter olympics and the coins themselves also seem legit unc/proof.

On the other hand, the Colnect catalogue, has pictures that show a similar coin with the same year (2002) on both sides and the decription text indicates this year as the only one for this issue and a total mintage of 18.000 pcs.

I did not get any additional results for internet queries regarding this coin.

Could someone help clarify what is the correct year of issue for this coin or whether both coins are legal issue - in which case the Numista catalogue should be updated - or if one of these two coins could be fraudulent?

Thanks.
Colnect has the tendency to "borrow" their pictures from anywhere and this time they used to different sources for their page.

I guess this coin was minted in 2001 for the 2002 Olympics otherwise it would make no sense.

Schön only mentions 2001 (edition 2016, page 1302).
The Numista year line says 2002. Schön mentions the coins were issued on 22 April 2002. Nevertheless, I would go for 2001 in the year line because that's the date on the coin (the date on the reverse refers of course to the 2002 Olympic Games). We can't possibly know for each coin when it was actually issued so if we don't go for the date on the coin we have to question all the dates in all year lines.
