Hello!!!

I collect colonial coins of the world
Now I'm collecting coins from the colonies of Portugal

20th century

I know the following countries for which Portugal issued such coins:

Angola,
Mozambique,
Portuguese India,
Saint Tome and Principe,
....
....

Please help me to complete this list. What other countries to include in this list? What name did these countries have and what name do I have now?

thanks
More Portuguese colonies that issued coins:

Brazil (to 1822)
Cabo Verde
Macau (now part of China)
Portuguese Guinea (now Guinea-Bissau)
Malacca (now in Malaysia)
Portuguese Timor (now Timor-Leste)

Parts of Portugal with own coins:

Azores
Madeira

I hope that helps.

There are also the Companhia do Niassa coins (included under Mozambique under the catalogue).

they aren’t exactly affordable though…
Guinea Bissau has not been mentioned yet.

Also there is the Xerafim coinage for Sri Lanka, these are coins from mostly the 17th century, it looks like all of these coins have index 100 though, meaning that they are extremely hard to find. Maybe you can find a museum that has one.

Besides coins I love geometry. The avatar consists of each of the 35 hexominoes used precisely once. With the 5 large yellow shapes placed like this, the solution for tiling the remaining 30 hexominoes is unique.
Thanks
