1929 Farthing variants? [gelöst]

Hi

I have a couple of 1929 British farthings. Both have quite a high level of detail & one is exactly as you'd expect, but the other is both smaller & thinner.

Can this be wear & tear or a variant, or perhaps something else?

If anyone has any ideas I'd really appreciate it.

Can you please give Weight and Thickness if possible it looks like a fake but why would anybody want to make a Farthing is beyond me.

​It's 0.9mm thick & weighs 2 grams. I agree it'd be such a weird coin to fake, especially as this one has the remains of a beaded edge.

I have looked at my collection of Farthings and found some like the one you have see photo the one on the right is 2.81g and 1.1mm thick and is worn on the edges the one on the right is 1.24 thick and 2.91g.
he edge on both sides has a raised Rim that is 0.2mm High and the thickness of a good Farthing is 1.40mm so 0.5mm Wear on yours would indicate the Weight Loss the UNC one I have has a weight of 3.0g with others coming in between 2.79g up to 2.91g

​Thanks a lot, Ian. That makes a lot of sense, guess I just didn't expect to see it so thin without too much other obvious damage.
