I don’t know what albums coin collectors prefer , but I prefer the pop in variety , like those of the UK Coin hunt . I have an album with little pockets in with a backing page with titles on , but recently spotted a pop in album on eBay ..which I’m going to buy .
The only problem is it spaces seems to end in 2017 and I know that in 2018 there were a lot of war ones . Does anyone know of an pop in album that covers these years . Prob from Australian mint .
I usually collect crowns , which most people don’t swap ..I suspect I might have more luck with these 50 cents . Let me know if you have any to swap , only if you see coins on my swap list you want .
I’ve had it explained now .... it’s 50c . I have got album from Australian Mint. It’s up to date and has spaces for coins in general circulation only.
The war ones are not in general circulation. In many ways albums like this should be published here . As it is albums here have many spaces for coins you have to buy from Royal Mint.
You may have read an earlier thread from me , where a company left out two spaces of circulated coins (uk 50p) because they were deemed politically incorrect
Sold by the RAM for $10 you can insert all the circulating 50 cent coins up to 2019.
It has some extra spaces for coins issued after that.
There are 32 of them (33 if you include the 1966 Round Silver one)
As mentioned above , I really like the concept of albums for circulating coins only , which I believe embodies the real spirit of coin collecting, namely checking your change to find the coins you want. I started this way with Olympic 50ps (UK).
It goes against the grain , to have to buy them (which I suppose everybody does) and just makes the Mint Companies even richer.
I have got the 50c album as a Christmas present to myself at a very reasonable price , however the 20 c one is proving too expensive , as most have postage tariffs from Australia.
