British Trade Dollar - Authentic or not?

Hello, fellow numismatists. I have a dilemma here: I bought this coin from ebay and am unsure whether this is a reproduction/fake or a genuine coin. To me it seems like a rather weak strike, and I have noticed a line on the rim that might indicate this having been cast rather than struck. What do you think? I really need a second opinion to figure out whether to send it back for a refund or not.

26.40g; 39mm diameter; 2.7mm thickness. It sounds like silver to me on the ping test.

Thank you, gros. I have read the thread and I still cannot figure out if I have a genuine or a really good fake. The weight is what worries me the most, with 0.5g lighter than what I would expect I fear it might be a counterfeit. Any thoughts?

I don't see any difference except for the characters which may be a little thicker but may be due to wear

Weight and Dimensions should determine its authentication as 99% of fakes get one usually the weight wrong .
