the obverse is clear
1943 1/4 anna
but the reverse doesn't seem to match any variations from KM# 32 if I turn the coin on medal allignment,
the term "इंदोर" appears on the right side (3 'O' clock) rather than the bottom 6 'O' clock
will be thankful for guidance

Verweis : "auscoin"Sounds like it may be a rotated die error which is caused when the obverse and reverse are not correctly aligned during the minting process.
thanks for your input; that's what I thought too
any guidance on how to add it to my collection as it doesn't confirm to any of the KM# 32 variations?
also if you could guide - how to ascertain value?
As far as I'm aware numista only lists known varieties and not errors. If it was mine I would label it as ... KM#32 - 90 degree rotated die.
The greater the rotation the higher the desirability when it comes to collecting but in saying that it doesn't add much of a premium to a coin's value. It really comes down to how much more someone is willing to pay at the time.
I'm not familiar with the value of the different grades of a 1843 ¼ Anna but as yours appears to be in a poor condition I wouldn't expect to get much more than face/metal value.
