Double Headed Coin, Italy

I have seen comment on this coin, in apparently more than one material. This one appears to be an alloy the same colour as what seems to be solder on the edge.

It appears not to be of universal thickness but between 1.5-2.0mm. 20mm diameter with a weight of just over 3g.


There ndoesnot appear to be a coin in the Numista catalogue which matches the colour and inscription with a similar head. Any suggestion as to what it is? Even more to the point, if it is a so called "magician's coin" on what real coin is it based?
