Georgia imprinted war with Russia on coins

"A coin dedicated to an armed conflict with Russia in August 2008 has been issued in Georgia.

As was reported by VZGLYAD, Deputy Chairman of the Heraldry Council of the Georgian Parliament Mamuka Gongadze reported that the work on the coin started immediately after the "five-day war" began.

According to Gongadze, the coin will become an active means of payment and not just a valuable item for collectors.

The reverse of the coin depicts the Georgian territory with Abkhazia and South Ossetia included in it, which independence was recognized after 2008 by four UN member-countries: Russia, Nicaragua, Venezuela and Nauru."

I tried figuring out what coin is mentioned in the above article. Maybe some of the non-US Georgians could find out or just fill me in. I wrote to the Georgia Times, no answer. I've asked in a couple of places on the internet, no one knew. I looked on the National Bank of Georgia site, no luck. Auctions on eBay were no help.

I think this could be incorrect as I have viewed many sites to try and find any coin that has been released by Georgia, with no success, however I have notice on most sites that refer to this war all mention counter-insurgency (coin) tactics, so maybe this isn't an actual coin but a mistake by a not very successful reporter. There is a commemorative coin released in 2008 which can been seen here:

I agree, this might have been a journalistic mistake. I checked a Russian language numismatic forum with a large section on coins from the former USSR area, and there was nothing on this issue.
As for the link, it shows coins issued by authorities of Sukhumi which consider Abkhazia independent from Georgia. Thus they (all three: authorities of Abkhazia, their coins and the country itself) are not recognized by Tbilisi as legitimate.
