Hello,

Due to the known events it became impossible to make swaps with Russia for some countries. Please help me to understand where they are still possible!  As I still want to swap, I need to understand which countries are still have postal exchange with Russia to be able to propose swaps. How is the situation in your country?

As I understand, France forbade to send collectible items (including coins) to Russia, some countries closed the postal exchange, for some countrie it has been impossible because of COVID restrictions.

Impossible to send parcels from Russia to:

Europe: Denmark, Finland, Poland, Sweden, Ukraine

Australia & New Zealand, Latin America (except Cuba), Africa (Except Egypt, SA, Ethiopia))…

Impossible to send parcels from these countries, but possible to send from Russia to:

 France, Italy, Canada, Czech Republic

Swaps are possible: USA, India, Slovakia, the Netherlands, Israel, Estonia,

Swaps are questinable: Japan (parcels from Japan are close to impossible to be sent)

Also I want to add, that I'm open to your swap offers:)

Sales are also possible, but since PayPal quit Russia, payments can be made only by crypto… I will make a list of countries here on the first post.

Dear Grinya,

in Italy we have restrictive measures on exports to Russia. It's forbidden to sell or to transfer luxury goods to Russia. Coins are included in the list of luxury goods.

I hope the restrictions will be cancelled as soon as possible.

Kindly regards

Andrea

Paypal might be replaced by western union ? at least  in some former republics as Uzbekistan.

As far as I understand, there are no legal restrictions for sending coins to Russia from The Netherlands.

They say "Pecunia non olet", but I know better...

Andreacoins, smvdbrink, thank you for this info, I've updated the first post.

Frenchlover, as I understand, WU also stopped their servises for sending money to Russia…

Have a nice evening and health.

I think it varies differently, the problem is to change the mode of transport ,, what worked does not work ,, Airmail disrupted and ground compensation difficult.

Here is,, Grinya,, an excerpt from the press spokesperson:

,, "Shipments have been suspended due to the cancellation of Aeroflot flights to Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus and Uzbekistan. Together with colleagues abroad, we are looking for alternative connections and we accept shipments for submission, "said spokesman Matyáš Vitík.

The post office continues to deliver consignments to Ukraine and Russia, although they may be delayed due to the need to transport them only by land. In the three days since the announcement of the possibility to send packages to Ukraine free of charge, 201 customers took advantage of the offer. ,,

It's abnormal.

You are a respected and great person - an honorary member,, Grinya,, according to my life philosophy and experience, the situation will turn around in a short time and I will be happy to add a collection of wire coins.

Now you can't pay and you can't wait for transport, and there are other aspects as well.

Have a nice day and stress free.

No problems in Estonia. Just finished a swap to Russia and both of us received the coins without problems.

It seems Canada post has put out an advisory since Mar 10 that due to lack of transportation available, they are not accepting deliveries to Russia

MIMAEL, Dejan, hkuus, ashlobo, thank you for this information!

Yes, I'm asking because not only legal restrictions may be possible, post may be unavailable also because of the absence of logistics solution. Once my letter to US got stuck in Addis Ababa for a couple of month, so it may show that the solutions may be possible….

I think as long as the invasion of Ukraine keeps going, the instability will keep growing and new measures can affect even the postal exchange pretty quickly, that's a thing to take into consideration. The new sanctions package for the war is said to be issued tomorrow so I would wait for that to see if there are any changes in this matter.
