Hi All
Picked up these stamps. I have no interest in stamp collecting so if anyone wishes to swap coins for these please get in touch. Unfortunately I will not be available to respond to any replies until later tonight. Thanks

I'm a small time stamp collector Third on the list from first coins then banknotes then stamps. What do you want for them?

Hi. That is the big question. I have absolutely no idea what the stamps are worth and therefore what a fair swap for coins is. Maybe a member with a good knowledge of stamps could value them.

Coinman48 has been giving away his collection for the past year (see the Stamp Giveaway Series in Free Discussion). Perhaps you can send him a message?

Hi. Thanks for your suggestion. I'm not one for bothering people and there's no mad rush. If someone reading this thread volunteers the information, that would be great.

You may not like this answer, honestly these stamps have close to zero monetary value. Most stamp dealers would agree to take these off your hands if there was valuable stuff in your collection that had good re-sale value that they were interested in. All of the pictured stamps were mainly created as revenue makers for the listed countries. Technically these stamps could have been used on the mail but very few were sent to actual post offices for postal duty. If you had examples of these on non-commercial, non-philatelic covers, you would have something quite desirable. With that being said, they are worth what someone is willing to pay out to acquire them for their collection. The souvenir sheets may be worth US$.50 each and the Tonga stamps US$.25. To the patient and diligent collector, you could find these in dealer lots that they are trying to get rid of for fractions of a cent. If you want more out them, sell them on eBay to the vast population of ignorant people who don’t know anything at all about their real value.
Before the 2008 USA recession, I had a stamp collection that had a catalog value in 6 figures. In 2017 when I moved to Thailand it was auctioned for less than $1000. Unfortunately, for the vast majority of stamps, very few have any real value. Hopefully in the future when more and more stamps are damaged or destroyed with poor preservation techniques the surviving ones will once again be worth some respectable amounts of money.
Hi blue-m. Thank you for your time and effort. The stamps were given to me free. I am under no illusions that I have found a crock of gold so it doesn't surprise me in the slightest that they have little value. But a lot of coins have little value also. I don't want to swap them for a gold sovereign.
