Irish or English coins

Im looking to swap for Pre euro/euro coins from england and ireland. I have mostly american coins especially wheat pennies.

Well technically all english coins are pre-euro. You should have said there is no such thing as english euro coins.

its not pre euro though as there is no plans for england to become euro ? i guess we should put pre euro american coins too incase the euro zone expands lol ;)

Now your getting the idea. Just kidding, I know the UK has no plans to adopt the euro but it is technically a member of the european union. So it could adopt the euro if it wished. About the pre-euro american coins comment, I read an interesting article the other day that was about Iceland considering adopting the canadian dollar.

Hey I don't mind if my country adopts the sterling pound, so that I can collect nice coins without paying for expensive shopping!
