Hi
I am from Mumbai, India.
I am new to this site and also to international swap SOPs so guidance is requested from senior Indian collectors who are well acquainted with routine procedure to be followed for custom clearance (which forms are to be filled up and how, what are those HS codes etc) and to comply formalities for Indian postal department.
Just discovered that coins can not be sent by any private courier company so only Indian postal service is what we have to follow. Is that correct?
Also let me know which service is to be used for sending a parcel? Is it advantageous to get the parcel insured?
Your valuable suggestions reg. all these aspects and any other point will be appreciated
Please help me out.
By the way, I need to send my package to a Numista member located in Italy.
Sure experienced seasoned members from India will guide me.... :)
Thanking you in anticipation
Warm regards
Madhav
