Location of IKEA Food token

The location of this IKEA Food token is indicated to be the United States: N#153843

I have got two of those, and they were given to me in the IKEA store in Älmhult, Sweden.

Since it has the ® symbol for registered trademark in the USA, I would say it is a USA token. This is just my opinion, looking forward to other comments.

All the IKEA stuff that I have has the registered trademark symbol. IKEA always write where their stuff is produced and I must admit that USA is still to be seen. Almost all IKEA stuff that I have has a huge piece of paper attached with product descriptions in countless of languages, usually even with diclaimers for the Argentina and Chile markets. In other words, I guess IKEA stuff are meant to be truly globalized.

Say also, USA copyright law is a global standard.

It really depends on what is meant by this statement.

US copyright law is only applicable to the US.

US copyright law is historically the inspiration of most copyright law in the World.

The registered trademark symbol is also used in other anglophone countries.

The question though is, what bearing this has to the Numista location of the IKEA token?
