I am new to collecting half soveriegns as well as new to Numista site so I wasn't quite sure how to list or “determine” the coins that I have up for swapping (or selling). I can provide close up photographs or if you live anywhere near Plymouth, we can arrange to meet up so you can “determiine” the collectability of the said coins that I have (preferably for exchange tho).
In the date range you are looking for I have the following dates that are duplicated in my own collection:- 1910,1911,1912,1913.
I have bought all mine in good faith from “EST 1897” (H&T Pawnbrokers) and /or from ebay sellers at an average of £215 each, which, I believe from an auctioneer I spoke to, that altho this is not really overpriced it is more or less top dollar hence the reason I would prefer to exchange for dates that I do not have rather than selling them, but would consider sales also.
I am personally looking for coins dated pre 1893 ,1896, and 1916-1924, 1927-1979,1981,1983-199,2001,2006,2007,2010-2018 and 2020. Of these I know that a lot of my “missing” dates were not struck so I know my collection will never get fully completed.
I would love to meet or contact a fellow collector to help me with my collection, but so far have not found anyone in Plymouth area that has the same interest as me.
