I have just picked up an isle of man 1980 set and in it is a 2p with the die mark AE, this die mark is not on numista and I'm wondering if it could be added please, I have tried to prove it is AE and 1980 in the pictures below.
You didn't provide an image of the date side of the coin. Just because the package says the coin is dated 1980 doesn't mean the coin is actually dated 1980.
Hi, thanks for the reply. My apologies for not including the link. I'm not really sure how I can prove it is a 1980 as I doubt a picture like the one below is enough, perhaps I could take a picture in a mirror showing 1980 and then the rainbow ish toning on the other side as its quite distinctive.
That picture is good enough for me – most people aren't intentionally trying to add bad information, but often people don't fully check everything. (The one time a mirrored pictured is often required is for alignment.)

From the previous comment the request was made, but it needs to be approved by a referee. Referees are volunteers and spend more or less time on Numista based on what is happening in their lives. I've had a large number of edits approved in the past week, but I have a couple pending since January.

Hi, earlier I put a request in on the one without any direct mark to get the AE designation as I'm sure it was the one added earlier (was on 0% before I added mine)
