Hi,

I found a 14 Gulden (gold) “Golden rider” which is a modern restrike from 1963 if I am correct. I can't seem to find this coin anywhere on Numista so maybe it can be added but should it be a totally new page or can it be added to the 14 Gulden “Golden Rider” page?

The info is:

Mint Year: 1963

Condition: Proof

Mint Place: Utrecht

Denomination: 14 Gulden "Golden Rider"

Privy marks: Fish (1945-1969) / Caduceus (Utrecht)

Reference: Friedberg 253, KM-97. (official restrike!)

Material: Gold (.917)

Diameter: 26mm

Weight: 9.96gm

Obverse: Armoured knight riding horse brandishing sword. Crowned shield below. Legend: M : AUR : PRO CONFOED . BELG : HOLLAND : *

Reverse: Crowned shield with dutch arms, date (17+50) split above. Denomination above privy marks (fish/caduceus) in fields. Legend: CONCORDIA . RES . PARVAE . CRES**** .

Translated: "Through concord little things grow (Union is strength) "

I would enter is separately. It really is a different coin, in my opinion (mint mark and privy mark and all)

It turns out that our policy is to add a date line to the listing for the original coin, so I have done that.

N#47590

I know this seems unusual for a restrike that occurs so long after the original, but it is consistent with other examples in the catalog.

What is the source of the photo?    I would like to be able to add it to the listing.
