Severus Alexander Gold Coin?

Had this since I was a kid and was never able to find any info on it.. someone suggested it may be Severus Alexander and his mother, but I have no clue.. also looking to sell

It looks like it might be gold. I can't help on ID but if it helps others here is the picture cropped:

As you can see corrosion pits on the surface it is not gold as gold is corrosion proof in normal environments. For me it looks like orichalcum - modern day brass - an aleation of mainly copper and zinc. That would reduce the range of the coin to sestertius and dupondius or equivalents. Anyhow the “conservation”-state of the reminders in my oppinion makes a further identification nearly impossibe and the monetary value of it is close to 0. Perhaps photos of the reverse could give additional clues.
